First edition of Wednesday Wisdom – where I will be bringing you great wisdom from people all over the universe who inspire me and my life!
And for today’s wisdom, we will discuss Gratitude.
What is Gratitude?
Feeling thankful, being happy with what you have, simple things are the pleasures in life.
Most people today are too fixated on what they don’t have and all the bad/negative things that are happening in their lives, which leads to them not enjoying the life they want to live.
It is true what they say, or what Buddha says – What we think, we become. Your thoughts become your life!
What am I grateful for?
Every time I go on holidays and I come back home to Perth, I appreciate Perth even more. We live in a great country and a beautiful city with friendly people.
I am grateful for our awesome weather all year round, even when it’s very hot or cold… we still get beautiful, clear blue skies with the sun!
We have beautiful beaches that everyone can access within 30 minutes, no matter where you live. And we have decent coffee.
I went to Queensland recently and people say Perth and Brisbane are similar – but I definitely prefer Perth over Brisbane ANY day.
I am also grateful for the fact that I was able to afford and have LASIK eye surgery. I love being able to see without glasses and contacts. It’s like I got my life back!
