Not really… I know tax time is going to be painful for most of us. Oh all right, ALL of us.
And I know I’ve been AWOL for the past two months. However, if you follow me through the social media channels, you know I’ve been doing a little bit of something.
Anyhoo… what’s the go? I went back to work – 38 hours a week… significantly less pay than my old job, but less stress and with a lot of flexibility. I can get into work at 7:30 and leave at 3:30, which is awesome. But since the weather is a bit colder, the mornings are darker, I don’t get in until about 8am. But all good, I leave at 4pm 😀
The good thing at this new job (not so new, I’ve been here since May!) is that I’m getting experience in Microsoft ShitPoint (I mean, SharePoint!) 2010 and eventually 2013 when we migrate both the intranet and internet sites over. And what I love is that I get to use Apple Macs at work! Was so excited when I found that out. I love using my Mac everyday, it’s the best thing ever! 😀 Everything I have at home is all Apple, apart from the Samsung Galaxy tablet which is a piece of poo poo… :-\
I also still get the goss on my old place of employment and they are still stuck in the dark ages, using SP 2007. C’mon, get with the times. Seriously, 2016 will come out soon. They were still talking about going to 2010 when I left last year!
Speaking of technology, my ADSL at home doesn’t work. I’ve been with iiNet for about 8 years now, I’ve also been renting in the same place for 7.5 years. Telstra won’t fix the line because our area has the National Broadband Network available and all copper lines will be disconnected and dug up. My landlords live out in the country so they are pretty oblivous to what goes on in the big smoke and not sure if the property manager has advised them of all the changes with the NBN! Moral of this story is that I am paying for non-existent service and I hope the property manager/landlord hurry up and get the NBN in. It’s currently FREE to set up the NBN in the premises. And I will leave iiNet once I get NBN, there are so many awesome plans with other providers out there, some with UNLIMITED downloads for like $90 a month!!
Which leads me onto another thing – isn’t it amazing how so much of our life is ONLINE? It’s pretty scary actually.
What else have I been doing? Well, I’ve been spending quality time with the love of my life/future husband/father of my children. My little sis also got engaged, so I’ve been dress shopping with her. And been spending time with my awesome friends.
I have some blog posts in the pipeline, I just need some time to sit down and write! But in the meantime, please go and like the Infinite Health & Wellness facebook page if you haven’t already! Or follow me on Instagram if you want to see what I’m up to 🙂
Have an awesome week, everyone! 😛
