I’ve been to Must quite a few times, usually with Miss K. Must have a pretty consistent menu which doesn’t normally change. What they do though, is have special nights, like French nights or Italian nights. Starting around the end of 2015, they started a “Taste of” series.
In December 2015, I went to the “Taste of Cherry” night. Because I’m preggers, I couldn’t have the pate, or anything raw or undercooked. They substituted some things from their vegetarian version of the menu. It was less than impressive, the best bit was the Cherry Ripe Dessert…

About a week go, Must had a “Taste of Cheese” night. You’re probably thinking, you’re pregnant, you can’t eat cheese. Blah blah blah… do you think French women stop eating cheese when pregnant? It’s their staple!
Anyway, this was the menu for the Cheese night.

I liked the appetiser, entree and the dessert. The main was lamb, I’m not fond of lamb… I was glad that it had a lot of saucey type stuff with it to mask the lamby taste.

Above is the appetiser, followed by the entree. The entree was delicious, with the creamy ricotta filling. I think they may have went a bit overboard with the salt in the filling though, as I had chunks of salt in mine. All the same, it was still tasty. I may try to replicate this dish at home.

The main – lamb… meh. Nothing special or spectacular here. And I also just don’t like lamb. But I need the iron for my baby.

And finally, dessert. It was quite refreshing and sweet, the mascarpone balanced the sweetness nicely. Miss K really wanted the Cherry Ripe dessert again, haha.
Next Taste night is on the Tuesday 2nd February and the theme is FIGS! Which will be in season. Hmmm, this could be interesting 😀
My rating – I like Must, I’ve been here enough times that I keep coming back. Service is always great, and I like how they have themed nights to keep things interesting.
